   Have you ever noticed that everybody uses LOL all the freakin' time - even when it makes no sense at all. Here is a some real life example from my nephew's facebook page:

   1. Thats too bad. I ran over mine with car once, lol. Do you have insurance on it?

   What the hell is funny about that? OMG! IDK! LOL! WTF!

   one of my pet peeves is when people reply with lol...

   for instance:

   Me: Hi
   Them: lol

   Me: Sooo... my uncle is really sick...
   Them: lol

   Me: Do you speak English?
   Them: lol

   Drives me totally freaking bonkers

    I may have used "LOL" at the beginning of my internet days (like 12 years ago) but not since. Thing is, I quite seldome laugh out loud. Like, if I'm watching a show that tickles my fancy, I might chuckle, but laugh out loud? Nah.
    I've recently been corresponding with a guy who writes "LOL" and "GRIN!" a lot, and it feels kinda creepy, like that clown in the movie "It."
    If someone online does make me laugh, I'll write ::laughing!:: or something, but LOL? Not gettin' that one outta me!

    since reading this post, I've started using LOL way more often.

    like when someone tells you to STOP thinking about something, and then that's all you can think about.

    now it's like someone's told me to stop using LOL, and now I can't stop. arg!
