So playing around on the McCain web site, I signed up for something with my gmail account, and now they send me campaign updates. No big deal, I don't mind them enough to unsubscribe.

The thing that pisses me off is all of the spam coming from gop.com. They are clearly sending republican spam to harvested email addresses. Hmmm... We should vote for them because they are breaking the law? Doesn't seem right to me.

Is this happening to anyone else?

More republican spam to a different mail address. They're driving me nuts! The funny thing about it is they are asking for support from the people they spam. Why do they think I'm a republican? I guess I'm one of the horrible democrats they are so worried about. Should I give them money to help defeat Obama?

    Dear Not a Repulican:

    The Audacity of Being Sarah

Surely, that's what Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat Party are thinking as they watch John McCain and Sarah Palin ignite a prairie fire of enthusiasm amongst voters from coast to coast throughout America.

Did you hear Sarah Palin speak in Missouri last week? No wonder Americans love her and liberals are stumbling over themselves to attack her.

"I eliminated taxes on personal property. I eliminated taxes that were hurting small businesses. Property taxes were just too high, so I cut ratesÂ… every year that I was in office."

"[As Governor,] I put the veto pen to nearly half a billion dollars in wasteful spending. We suspended the state fuel tax. And now that we have a surplus and I'm returning a chunk of that surplus straight back to the people because they can spend it better than government can spend it for them."

"As a matter of national security and for our prosperity, we need American energy sources brought to you by American ingenuity and produced by American workers."

You can see why Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat Establishment want to destroy Sarah Palin. They look down their noses on her values and they despise what she's been fighting for in America.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat Congress took a five-week paid vacation and refused to vote on drilling for more American oil. Contrast the Do-Nothing Democrat Congress with Sarah Palin who, as Governor of Alaska, negotiated agreements to build a $40 billion natural gas pipeline that will help free America from foreign sources of energy that don't have our best interests at heart.

Pelosi and the Democrats are holding American energy hostage to foreign regimes. Sarah Palin is working to set America free of that dangerous dependence!

When John McCain and Sarah Palin get to the White House next January, they will need the support of Republicans in Congress to help implement their agenda for America and promote the values of the hard working Americans who sent them there. You can bet Nancy Pelosi will spend every waking minute trying to block the McCain/Palin agenda for America.

We can't send John McCain and Sarah Palin to the White House without support.

Contribute today and help the NRCC send more Republicans to Congress who share their views, share their passion and will work with them to change the direction of the country.

Thank you for your unwavering support.

    Sincerely,

    Tom Cole, M.C.
    Chairman

P.S. It's absolutely critical that John McCain and Sarah Palin have a Congress who will work with them -- not against them. Your contribution will be immediately put to work in helping our candidates win on November 4th -- and give John McCain and Sarah Palin the support they need. So please make your most generous contribution today by clicking here now!

    Yesterday, the fun one was:

Subject: FW: Sarah Palin--Tell us why you think she's a good choice

Patricia - The response to this email has been great! Over 100,000 people have given their opinions so I wanted to make sure you saw it!

If you have not already, please take a moment to let us know your opinion about Vice Presidential nominee - Governor Sarah Palin. Also, please make sure to forward this email to other Republicans so they have a chance to respond as well. Thanks for your support of our Party and our candidates.

SO, for fun, I went to the site and told them what I thought about her being the choice for VP Candidate. I don't think it was what they wanted to hear

I totally spoke too soon. They are back at it. Only a little more than two weeks and they will stop.

Why did I ever think that sending spam from the republicans to the federal government would help? I was really hoping they would just get annoyed by me and send the Rs a note to stop.

    Oh well.

Every time I think they're done spamming me, the send me more! I just got spammed today!!! They're still asking for money!

Maybe when Obama and the Dems take over, my complaints that I send to spam@uce.gov won't get ignored! Wishful thinking, I know.
