So I bought a couple of these "As seen on TV Turbie Towels" when we were at our local Big Lots. The were $1.50 each and I was being silly so I bought one for myself and one for my friend.
So the idea is pretty simple, get out of the shower, wrap the towel around your wet hair, put the end through a little elastic loop, and voila! your hair is up in a towel that doesn't weight 500lbs. and won't come undone. In theory you would go about your business, get dressed, put your makeup on, then do your hair.
Had I put a normal towel on my head while I was doing all of this, my hair would be significantly dryer that when I got out of the show. By some miracle, the turbie towel was fairly dry and my hair was literally dripping water. What the hell? Did that thing sneak more water onto my head from somewhere?!?
In the end, I grabbed a regular towel and used it to get my hair fairly dry. The silly turbie towel did stay in place and keep my hair up. Maybe I will use it on my dry hair to get it wet
