Criminals deserve guns to keep Hitler & the Nazis at bay
Okay guys, some of you are a bit pissy about the suggestion of background checks for gun purchases at gunshows. Of course all of the NRA followers always mention the Second Amendment and some have even implied Hitler would not have risen to power if it had not been for government imposed gun control laws.
I just want you all to read the second amendment and explain to me where it says you have the right to purchase a gun without in some way proving you are not likely to use that semi-automatic assult rifle to rob or kill someone.
This is the Second Amendment:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
To most of you, this right does not apply. You don’t want guns because you are wanting to guarantee the security of a free State. The Second Amendment is turly irrelevant to your cause.
